LeBron James is the overwhelming choice as the NBA's Most Valuable Player. The Miami Heat star took 120 of 121 first-place votes in this year's balloting, giving him the award for the fourth time. Oklahoma City's Kevin Durant finished second and the New York Knicks' Carmelo Anthony was third. James' selection was not unanimous, despite plenty of suggestions from people around the league in recent weeks that he was worthy of that honor. Anthony received the only other first-place vote from a panel of broadcasters and sports writers who cover the league. The NBA released the results Sunday, when James was presented with the award. They had the guy that voted Anthony on Mike and Mike this morning. He thought a lot of other players would get votes. He didn't do it to prove a point or whatever.
I just saw him on ESPN, his logic for picking Anthony is goobered. If Anthony has a bad game his team will lose because all he can do is score. If James his having a tough shooting night he still has close to a triple double with assists and rebounds.
He picked Melo??? ....wait for it.........wait for it...... :laughy32: FREAK ALL THE HATERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
How many times is this vote unanimous? Thought I heard someone on the radio say even MJ never won the unanimous MVP vote. Voting for Carmelo? Yeah lol. But whatever.
