Michael Vick Is 'Noticeably Bigger,' Excited For New Eagles Offense

Eagles QB Michael Vick has been given an incredible opportunity to turn his career around in an offensive system that might just suit his skill set.

Vick seems to know what a great chance this is, too. Zach Berman of the Philadelphia Inquirer notes that Vick's "motivation" this year can't be overstated.

"(Vick's) noticeably bigger and enthused about the offense," Berman writes.

Vick has spoken plenty that he ran less last season by design. Now, he's in an offense that should play to his strengths (mobility) with a vastly improved, healthier offensive line.

Wait wait wait, he's getting bigger when he is getting excited about the offense?

 

Did the Advocate write this? The only thing that could make that "noticeably bigger" statement any more latently homo is...nothing. Any further and it's lost its latency entirely.

 

For Vick it isn't homo, is prison love, sometimes you take it outside the bars and barbed wire dating zone. So I've been told.

 

I'm glad you guys didn't read the entire article where he used the expression, "offseason fluff".

As for Vick, like bs said. Unless Vick understands how to read a defense and can make plays that aren't picks/fumbles, I don't care if he's noticeably bigger or not.

 

Wasnt it Vick who said last season that the Eagles could be a dynasty? How about you focus on just making the playoffs before you start talking dynasty. :icon_rolleyes:

I disagree. There was a lot of interest lost in the Phillies and the Flyers early on in their respective seasons, ya know once it was pretty noticeable that they sucked, especially with how orange and red the city has been the last 5 years since ive lived here.

Phillies actually still in the mix, but the excitement around that team is non existent compared to recent years. Im not saying all but a lot of people i know in philly and south jersey would have you convinced they were the biggest sports fan in the universe and just didnt really care this year.

Ive never really felt that way with the eagles fans though, just that they can be rods at the games.

Speaking of vick though, i was talking to someone earlier that says the eagles are probably looking at a top ten pick next year, I tend to think vick will emerge as the starter and whether chip is a good NFL coach over time or not i think they will be a frustrating team to play this season

 

Every fanbase has fans like that especially younger ones. That doesnt mean the whole group is like that.
