The Detroit Lions continued to make some minor moves at the bottom of the roster on Tuesday, claiming former Cleveland Browns quarterback Thaddeus Lewis off waivers.

Lewis, a three-year veteran, was signed by the St. Louis Rams in 2010 as an undrafted free agent out of Duke. He spent the last two seasons in Cleveland before being released last week.

Lewis made his debut in 2012, starting the season finale for Cleveland. He completed 22 of 32 passes for 203 yards, one touchdown and one interception in the 24-10 loss to Pittsburgh.

Detroit could use some talent and youth, at the QB position, besides Matt Stafford
