Washington Redskins linebacker Brian Orapko is coming off a season-ending torn pectoral muscle suffered in Week 2 last season, Orapko has some pretty lofty goals according to Jim Corbett of USA Today. Orapko is wants to win Comeback Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year. "Defensive Player of the Year is a goal of mine,'' Orakpo said. "I worked extremely hard this offseason and Defensive Player of the Year is very obtainable." Two other goals will drive Orakpo, the Redskins' 2009 first-round pick, in his redemption season, winning a Super Bowl and earning a long-term deal. He is entering the final year of his rookie contract. Orakpo watched the reigning Super Bowl champion Baltimore Ravens receive congratulations from President Barack Obama at the White House Wednesday, stoking his fire. "Yeah, especially when we know we beat that Super Bowl team last year," Orakpo said. "It just gives you motivation with us having a remarkable run like we had considering all the injured guys we had. When we add the injured guys to the playoff team we had last year and the young guys as well. There's no reason why we can't be successful this season." Source: The Redzone
Highly, highly, HIGHLY, doubtful. Will need to work on coverage for starters, not to mention pass rushing.
