The Detroit Lions are coming off a 4-12 season in which they lost their final eight games but if you ask St. Louis Rams cornerback Cortland Finnegan, he expects them to have a major turnaround next year, Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press reports. In fact Finnegan says if the Rams don't win the Super Bowl this coming season, the Lions will. “If we don’t win it, I’ll take the Lions winning it next,†he said. “I know it didn’t surprise you guys,†he said. “You don’t have the name Megatron for any other reason other than you’re a bad man. So that’s where it’s at. They had a lot of good things going for them. Slot receivers, (Matthew) Stafford is amazing. They picked up some good stuff this year. So (Jim) Schwartz, he’s always going to put together a good team.†Source: The Redzone
He is a dumb butt. The lions are over rated and the rams are maybe a year or two away from being a threat Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk 4 Beta
I concede that the Rams will be tough, but they have to overtake the 49ers and Seahawks, which won't be easy. The Lions still have far too many internal issues. They'll get in their own way somewhere during the season.
