Mike Tice is taking a break from football. The former Vikings coach was fired as the Bears' offensive coordinator after Marc Trestman became Chicago's head coach during the offseason. Tice is living in Seattle with his wife, Diane, waiting for the next NFL job to come along in time, he hopes, for the 2014 season. Tice told Bob Sansavere of the St. Paul Pioneer-Press that he "absolutely" wants to coach again. "When the offensive line jobs dried up, I was sitting there," Tice said. "Fortunately, the McCaskeys (who own the Bears) are good people. Some of us got jobs and some of us are sitting out and will go back at it next year." "There were a few things that came up but those jobs got filled up by other coaches, most notably younger coaches. I joined the Y. I'm trying to look young. I'm not sure they can help with my hair loss." Source: The Redzone
