Arizona Cardinals coach Bruce Arians appeared on NFL Network's "NFL AM" Wednesday morning and said "there's no doubt" that Rashard Mendenhall would be the starting running back if the season started today, Chris Wesseling of NFL.com reports. "Rashard is just 25 years old (turns 26 on Wednesday)," Arians said. "He took me personally to a Super Bowl, and I know what he can bring to the table as a runner and a pass protector and also a receiver. He's an every-down player. And I think he's looking forward to having an outstanding season." Mendenhall's early 2012 knee surgery led to Achilles tendinitis last season but it's no longer issue and "he's ready to go," Arians assured. Source: The Redzone
He still could have been way better than he was if he just put his head down and hit holes.. the dancing was ridiculous.
his interior line didnt help him much in that regard....remember when flozell was paving the way for him? he was awesome. Hes a perfect fit for haley, mike adams is a great run blocker, and the interior line is overhauled....his a dummy and spent some time in the dog house because of it, and he was never healthy last year...would have liked to see him have one more year here. Oh well, leveon bell it is i guess
