Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez will be charged in connection with the shooting death of a 27-year-old Dorchester man, a law enforcement source told WBZ NewsRadio 1030 on Friday. According to that source, an arrest warrant has been issued on a charge of obstruction of justice. It is expected that State Police will be responsible for arresting Hernandez, but it is not yet clear when and where Hernandez was going to be arrested. The source added that it is possible that charges could eventually be upgraded. The body of 27-year-old Odin Lloyd of Dorchester was found Monday in a field in North Attleboro, about half-a-mile from Hernandez’s home, he had been shot in the head. Source: The Redzone
well, there seems to be a lack of evidence to work with (partially because of the obstruction) so i'm not sure they will ever figure out who the actual shooter was. Obstruction doesn't get jail time. If they don't put together a case with what they have, hernandez will walk.
Well, we know the NSA is recording every piece of data they can on us. I wouldn't be surprised if they have his cell phone location data and if they can tie that where the body was found they have a minimal case of accessory, despite how many pieces the phone is in now. I would also venture to guess that the rental cars have gps data stored. At that point even if he says he wasn't the driver he needs to give someone up. There is much more available to law enforcement now than just the information that people are willing to give them. I would also put out there about his 'friend' from the strip club in Florida, who wouldn't cooperate with police has now given them enough evidence to persue a case of attempted involuntary manslaughter. This man is in a load of crap any way you look at it.
