My concern is how this guy didn't get flagged and ended up in the NFL. Better yet how did he make it to any college team. Looks like they would do a better back ground check. And I know talent says a lot. But teams need to start drawing a line at some point.

Have we ever had a case where an active current player in the nfl has been brought up on murder charges? ray lewis was never charged with murder,but he eventually plead guilty on a lesser charge. I can't recall this ever happening before.

Oh I'm FAR from innocent. To weed out the the idiots it has to start at the lower levels of the system. There has been way to much negative publicity in the last ten years from players. And its only getting worse each year. If he is found not guilty by some chance, he should be banned from the NFL. NO second chances anymore.

 

Actually, if you look at the big picture, the statistics clearly say that the nfl has much lower criminal activity than men ages 20 to 34 in the general population.

if you must know, i read it in this washington post article when i was looking through writings on the hernandez case to see if there was any new rumors or information.

I did not realize that we were now required to reference every single piece of knowledge that we have read or heard.
