All through July, I, Dave Dameshek (aka the Uniform Monitor) am turning things over to you – my fellow pigskin/fashion aficionados - to determine the greatest uniform in NFL history. How, you ask? I’ve taken great time and care in creating a bracket comprised of each NFL team’s current uniform and my favorite throwbacks for each franchise. All you need to do is vote... then check back every few days to see if your favorite jersey has advanced to the next round. Source: NFL.com

For my money the classic Chargers powder blue with the numbers on the helmet is the best of the bunch:
There are certainly nicer ones but I really liked the Detroit uni's with the silver pants and blue mesh jerseys with silver numbers. My high school football uniform was really similar, and I remember Barry Sanders going nuts in a game with that version on
While those Chargers unis are nice, you can't have the best if your uniform has the word, "powder", in it. The Raiders black and silver scream what a football uniform should be.

I remember all the talk was about people wondering what Barry Sanders could do with that Cowboys O-line. One can only dream....
