The Miami Dolphins arguably boast one of the best defensive tackle tandems in football with Paul Soliai and Randy Starks.

That tandem could be completely off the roster in 2014 as both players are free agents after the season, and it is very unlikely that either player will get a long-term contract before the season kicks off.

Barry Jackson of The Miami Herald reported Wednesday that the Dolphins haven't made a contract offer to Starks since they used the franchise tag on him. Starks rejected a deal earlier this offseason that wasn't "remotely close" to his asking price, according to Jackson.

Soliai also hasn't received a contract offer. The Dolphins have nice depth on the defensive line, but they can expect to lose one of their starters next year, if not both.

They don't need to, if either Starks or Soliai leave, they will resign the other and move Odrick inside where he beasts.
