The Houston Texans have listed themes for all of their 2013 home games, and a Dec. 1 game at Reliant Stadium against the New England Patriots simply is listed as "homecoming."

We're not really sure what that means at the NFL level. Will the local chapter of Kappa Sigma have a party at the frat house after the game? Will there be a homecoming queen crowned at halftime and kissed by a Texans player who presents her with roses and a tiara?

And why didn't they do like most teams and schedule a patsy like Savannah State?

You never schedule homecoming against the best team, unless you've been long time rivals and all the games have been close.

You don't schedule homecoming against a rival. If you are a NFL team, you schedule homecoming against NYJ, Cleveland, Jacksonville, or Oakland.
