Former NFL RB Tiki Barber Says Eli Manning A Better QB Than Peyton Manning

Former New York Giants running back Tiki Barber used to think Eli Manning wasn't a great leader, right before the younger Manning quarterbacked the team to a Super Bowl title. Two rings later, Barber now believes Eli Manning is a better quarterback than Peyton Manning.

Barber, a morning co-host on CBS Sports Radio, made that declaration on air Wednesday.

"The expectation was that he was never going to be Peyton," Barber said. "I remember having these conversations with people who watched Eli in college, saying, 'He's good, but he's never going to be Peyton, he's not Peyton.' Guess what? I think he's better than Peyton."

Barber gave the nod to Eli "because of clutch."

"What matters in sports? It's winning and losing," Barber said. "You get to the stage and what do you do? Eli's gotten there and he's won."

I get the point about clutch being important, but Eli is not a better quarterback.

 

just because he has won twice as many super bowls does not mean he is a better qb. tiki is really just a piece of crap.his 1st year retired,he talked all that crap,and then the giants won the super bowl! ronde is the better of the two.

Better post-season QB, I absolutely agree. Peyton won a super bowl, but hasn't gotten it done with several opportunities on several good Colts teams and as well with the Broncos last year.
