San Francisco 49ers coach Jim Harbaugh has no concerns about quarterback Colin Kaepernick wearing a Miami Dolphins hat, which erupted into a minor controversy. “I know Kap, and I know where his allegiances lie," Harbaugh told reporters. "They lie with us. I chalk that up to a slow time in the media cycle." It's hard to disagree with him, too much was made of Kaepernick's choice of head gear. Should he wear 49ers hats only, probably it would be better, but it's not as if this kind of stuff matters. It just shows how popular the NFL has become and how much scrutiny players are under that this kind of thing got so much publicity. Kaepernick drew praise from Harbaugh for how he's prepared. "He's had an outstanding offseason," Harbaugh said. "We've talked about it many times — his work ethic and what he does here and his preparations, it's top notch. This offseason has been outstanding in that regard." Source: National Football Post
