Greg Oden went through a two-hour workout Tuesday in Indianapolis in front of Miami Heat coach Erik Spoelstra, new Sacramento Kings general manager Pete D'Alessandro and representatives from the New Orleans Pelicans, according to sources close to the situation. Sources told ESPN that Oden will put his skills on display again Thursday for Atlanta Hawks officials before sitting down for his long-anticipated private meeting with the Pelicans later this week in Las Vegas. The San Antonio Spurs and Dallas Mavericks also continue to pursue Oden hard. One source close to the process told ESPN.com that teams in the Oden hunt are still in the information-gathering stage and that none has yet put forth an official offer to the former No. 1 overall pick. Hes probably gonna go to the heat start to be good again and the heat will keep winning championships ......fml i hate them
heat need a big man, he could be that guy. Hasnt played in afew years but maybe thats what his knee needed
I dont know why he wouldnt want to go to the heat, they obviously need a big man and they can obviously win a championship or 7 without one...seems like a win-win, he could be exactly what they need or he could blow out a knee and still get a ring
