Ill news out of Philadelphia, where the Eagles are down a wide receiver. Jeremy Maclin was carted off the practice field Saturday with what the team called a right knee injury suffered during 7-on-7 drills. Upon first examination, the Eagles fear Maclin tore the anterior cruciate ligament and medial collateral ligament in the knee, NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reported, citing a source informed of the injury. Maclin currently is undergoing an MRI. "He just came off the line of scrimmage, and his knee buckled a little bit," Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson said, via the team's official website. "It's an unfortunate situation. Hopefully it's not too bad." Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer reported that Maclin lay on the ground for approximately five minutes as team trainers worked over him. Source: NFL.com
