A day after an unflattering photo of Eddie Lacy blew up social media, Packers coach Mike McCarthy told reporters during his Tuesday news conference he has no concerns about the rookie running back’s conditioning, Weston Hodkiewicz of the Green Bay Press Gazette reports. In the photo, Lacy is contorting his body to position himself for a pass, making his abdominal area appear soft and out of shape. It triggered concern on Twitter about if the photo was an indication of the “questionable commitment and work habits†label some experts pegged him with before April’s draft. However, McCarthy said that’s furthest from the truth, adding that if the second-round running back, who’s listed at 5-11, 230, hadn’t passed his recent conditioning test, he wouldn’t be suited up. “Eddie Lacy going through the conditioning tests, he was fine,†McCarthy said. “Anytime our players come in, we have a physical, conditioning tests.
