With five wide receivers from the team's 90-man roster unable to practice due to injuries, the 49ers plan to look at some available free agents. Laurent Robinson, whom the Jacksonville Jaguars released after one season, is expected to work out for the 49ers as early as Thursday, said a source, confirming a Boston Globe report. Robinson sustained four concussions last year. He is reportedly involved in a grievance against the Jaguars, who released him to avoid paying his $2.6 million salary for this season. Robinson has also worked out recently with New England, the New York Jets, Detroit and Miami. Source: Comcast Sports
Worth a physical at least. I'd take him over Lloyd. Excellent #3 WR with diverse skills and very good at improvising when the play breaks down Sent from my HTC Vivid
