Packers WR Jordy Nelson Has Knee Surgery, Out 4-6 Weeks

    Packers wideout Jordy Nelson will miss four to six weeks after undergoing knee surgery Monday, reports ESPN's Adam Schefter. Nelson still is expected to be ready for the Sept. 8 season opener at San Francisco -- less than five weeks away.

    Doctors tried correcting nerve tissue in Nelson's knee that has bothered him since college, but the knee flared up early in camp, Schefter reports.
