Steelers rookie running back Le'Veon Bell will have to wait another week before he makes his preseason debut. The second-round pick out of Michigan State was held out of Saturday's preseason opener against the Giants with a sore knee, which had kept him out of a few practices during the week, according to The Observer-Reporter.

Bell was expected to see time with the first-team offense. He is expected to compete with Jonathan Dwyer, Isaac Redman and LaRod Stephens-Howling for the starting job.

Sucks. I was looking forward to seeing him go. Stephens-Howling looked pretty decent.

Yes Stephen Howlings looked good, Mike Adams and Decastro looked great.

Mike Adams and Decastro were very quietly brilliant.

LSH just keeps gaining yard when everyone (including myself) thinks he shouldnt. Could be a real underrated pickup. Gives us a little of what both Mewelde and Rainey did

Hopefully Bell is as good as they are saying and they just want to unleash him
