Ron Jaworski, ESPN analyst and former Eagles quarterback, on Wednesday said “Colin Kaepernick could be one of the greatest quarterbacks ever. I love his skill set. He throws with accuracy. And in today’s NFL you have to have mobility. He’s got all those attributes.â€￾

Cam Inman of Bayareanewsgroup reports that Kaepernick reacted modestly to Jaworski's comments saying, "To me, it's a great honor what he said. I'm very flattered. But at the same time, I haven't played a full season yet."

Last month, Jaworski ranked Kaepernick 11th among current starting quarterbacks.

no doubt he has had a great start. not sure how long the guy is going to play at a high level in this league, but while he is young, it looks like he's going to be good.

Jaws was sacked a lot as a player.he just loved getting sacked by large black men, just ask lawrence taylor, harry carson, dexter manley, harvey martin, and ed"too tall"jones. to kap's favor,he did say that he has yet to play a whole season.

Agreed. I think I'd wait a while before building a bust of him to put in Canton.

is there a more hyped player right now? Dont get me wrong harbaush has done great things with him and he looks sharp so far in the preseason but we are talking 4 rushing TDs and 10 passing TDs and half a season under his belt playing with an unfair amount of starter quality RBs, an elite defense, and a line that had 4 of its players grade out in the top 5 of their respective positions and the 5 grading out as top 10...essentially a brick wall.

They are THIN at WR right now though, lets see him get through 1) a full season and 2) a season without his first ever favorite NFL target

Badlwin was a good pickup, collie will run in circles off the snap because hes confused and dizzy, and boldin cant get separation from LBs (but still might make the catch)

There are beginning to be some rumblings out there that maybe kaep is not as good as some thought.

Personally, i think d coaches have been able to make adjustments to him and we really have not had time to see kaeps ability to readjust and mature.

This time next year i think we will have a better idea of what he actually is.

its really hard to judge kaep right now. its been a clusterheck. i feel its been more of a combined number of things. the coaches not using the players right, bad playcalling, players outside of Kaep not preforming, and lets not forget how banged up the niners been on offensive. i think we will see what happens by playoffs. some of the answers should be answered by then.
