Although Raiders quarterback Terrelle Pryor racked up 329 yards (112 rushing) and almost led Oakland to a Week 1 win against the Colts, he called his performance "awful" following the 21-17 loss.

"I could've helped win the game and didn't," Pryor said, per CSN Bay Area. "We had 'em on the ropes and we didn't knock them out. The record is all that matters to me. I don't care what my numbers are. I just want to do well for the team, and I didn't do well enough.

"Please don't write this as cocky because it's not. Anytime I get on the field, I feel like I'm the best player out there, and that my team is going to have a chance to win. That's my job. I need to get the ball into the right hands and make plays. We have to get better. I know I do."

Even opposing quarterback Andrew Luck was impressed with Pryor.

"I'll tell you, Terrelle Pryor is a stud," Luck said. "He made some unbelievable plays."

I think the Raiders made a good decision investing into Pryor

I think Pryor's decision making for the most part. He threw a couple of bombs he didn't need to that ended up picked or batted down, just trying to make something happen. He'll fix that. Him and Streater appeared to have a special connection in the 1st half and then it just kind of disappeared. He has some work to do as far as actual passing goes, but the decision making (in terms of run or pass) seems to be there. He could be solid.
