The last thing the Giants need this week, as they prepare to face the Peyton Manning-led Broncos juggernaut, is to lose one of their top corners. So it was good news on Monday, when Giants coach Tom Coughlin indicated that Prince Amukamara was recovering from his Sunday night concussion well. Coughlin said Amukamara was “doing better†on Monday, one day after he’d knocked helmets with safety Ryan Mundy in the second quarter. Both players had been evaluated for concussions immediately, but while Mundy returned to the game, Amukamara was held out. Still, Coughlin indicated that Amukamara’s concussion did not seem serious, saying that the third-year man “didn’t seem to have any repercussions,†on Sunday night. Source: New York Daily News

He barely dropped enough to avoid it (fortunately), but that was a scary moment. I think Terrence Williams would have died if he got caught in that, especially so soon after his last concussion.
