Saints S Kenny Vaccaro Fined $7,875 For Late Hit On Matt Ryan

    New Orleans Saints rookie safety Kenny Vaccaro already told Larry Holder of the New Orleans Times-Picayune he received a fine of about $8,000 for his late hit on Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan in the first quarter of Sunday's 23-17 win in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. ProFootballTalk.com reported the NFL docked Vaccaro $7,875 for the hit.

    Multiple officials threw penalty flags for unnecessary roughness when Vaccaro hit Ryan as the Falcons' passer slid to the turf after a 12-yard scramble.

    at least for the game. I don't wish injury on most people. but with Matty Ice gone it would be easier for us to win and quit having all those damn close games. starting to look like Roman Harper with the gray hair.
