The Atlanta Falcons suffered injuries to three of their starters in the first half against the St. Louis Rams, with running back Steven Jackson, cornerback Asante Samuel and defensive end Kroy Biermann all forced to leave the game and questionable to return.

Jackson, making his first appearance against his former team, left the contest after scoring an 8-yard touchdown in the first quarter. While diving toward the pylon, he apparently injured his thigh.

Samuel aggravated an injury to his thigh in the first quarter, the same one that kept him from playing in the Falcons' Week 1 contest against the Saints.

Biermann had his ankle tangled up while rushing Rams quarterback Sam Bradford late in the second quarter.
