Chicago's defense forced five turnovers and scored twice, and the Bears beat the Pittsburgh Steelers 40-23 on Sunday night to remain unbeaten.

Major Wright returned an interception 38 yards for a touchdown in the second quarter, and Julius Peppers picked up Ben Roethlisberger's fumble and raced 42 yards for a score in the fourth quarter as the Bears (3-0) held off a late rally.

Roethlisberger completed 26 of 41 passes for 406 yards, and threw two touchdowns to Antonio Brown, but the Steelers fell to 0-3 for the first time since 1986 thanks to an avalanche of mistakes.

Jay Cutler passed for 159 yards and threw a 17-yard touchdown strike to Earl Bennett with just under 6 minutes remaining to give the Bears breathing room after the Steelers trimmed a 21-point deficit to four.

the bears got pretty conservative on both sides of the ball in the 3rd quarter and early 4th quarter and it gave the steelers some momentum. but, once the bears cranked it up again, it was over.

Ben and his receivers looked a little better last night in the passing game but their o-line and RB's are just horrid and Ben is just so reckless with the football.

To me, giving up 459 yards to your opponent isn't necessarly dominating but the 5 turnovers the Bears D forced did the trick.

i think that's pretty much the Bears m.o. They are going to give up yards, especially when they are leading by 3 td's. They just wait for their opportunity to create turnovers, which they are very good at doing.

Reckless with the football how? Trying to scramble? One of those fumbles goes on Isaac Redman. As for being reckless, should he hold the ball with two hands? Pretty hard to throw the ball like that. Granted when he's running, pump fakes and hits his own shoulder with the ball was Favre-esque, but he didn't lose that fumble.
