and the 49ers, Packers, Falcons, Steelers, and Giants are a combined 3-12.

I doubt anyone saw this one coming.

So, which of the teams that are winning right now will miss the playoffs and which of the teams that are losing right now will make the playoffs?

I will say the Jets are not going to make the playoffs and the Dolphins and Chiefs might be in the WC chase.

For the losing teams that could come on strong, I would say the Falcons, 49ers, and Packers should still be in the playoff hunt.

i forgot about the redskins, who were supposed to be good, being 0-3 also. i don't see them being in any playoff chase.

The Jets will not make the playoffs.

I see the Dolphins actually challenging for the AFC East crown. I don't know if they'll win it but I see them giving the Patriots a good fight.

The Chiefs will not over take the Broncos in the AFC West but I do see the Chiefs fighting for a wild card spot in the AFC.

Thinking the exact same thing myself this morning. Over the past two weeks I'm 3- 12 in my vBookie bets only because I've been betting "the expected" winners. Time to throw a dart.

Totally agree that the Phins and Chiefs are on course to snare a playoff spot. Like him or not, Captain Checkdown or Mr. Game Manager in KC, Smith's proving to be more valuable than given credit for. 22-5-1 in all of his starts since the beginning of the 2011 season and 3-0 with 0 INT's this year alone. Can't deny he's a winner to date.

One surprise to me is the Phins. Tannehill may be exceeding expectations, but he really is kind of impressive. The other is the 49er's. Two really bad games for CK so far and the jury is starting to wonder are more on the way. Still too early tell, but should he crap the bed this Thursday, the red flags will be up.

The "WTF is going on?" team is the Giants only because I think the Jags could beat them. Where in the hell is there team leadership ON THE FIELD. Unfortunately, Coughlin will be the scapegoat. With so much of the universe centered on RGIII and his talents that the assumption is can single-handedly shore up any deficiencies. He could throw for 5,000 yards and have 1,500 yeards rushing and the Skins will still lose. There is no worse defense in the entire NFL. Pittsburgh....Haley won't see the end of the season even though their O-Line rivals the Cards for craptiest line to date.

I agree about the giants. Their offense is just horrid right now.

I watched much of their game Sunday and the panthers dline absolutely abused the giants oline.

They have no running game right now and all of this is affecting their passing game.

never thought this would happen this year. I sure didnt think the Jets would be the team in new york with a better record

The fact that these three teams are a combined 8-1 must mean that this is a sign of the Apocalypse.

9ers, falcons, and packers have shown they can win and all three teams can put up points.

giants and steelers have the qb, but the rest of the team is shat right now.

i didint see how the cheifs or fins could get any worse this season, so a wild card spot isnt out of the question, i just dont see them winnning their divisions.

in the nfc, lets say the saints, bears, seahwaks and whoever survies the nfc east, out of 9ers, pac, or falcons, only two of those get in
