Cowboys wide receiver Miles Austin did not practice for a second straight day on Thursday as he deals with a strained hamstring. Austin exited Sunday's 31-7 win over St. Louis due to the injury and was held to just two catches for 22 yards for the game. His status for this weekend's matchup at San Diego is yet to be determined. Reserve wideout Dwayne Harris, who is bothered by a hip pointer, also has yet to practice this week. If he and Austin aren't able to go against the Chargers, rookie Terrance Williams would likely see the majority of snaps opposite Dez Bryant. Source: Sports Network
Neither Harris or Austin has practiced this week. Harris will try to play through a hip pointer, and Austin is a game time decision.
I just heard Austin is officially out. (I got an update from Bleacher Report.) I really hope Williams is up for the start.
This maybe austin's last year because he usually has hamstring problems every year a month or two into the season. he is a good reciever, but he has a really hard time staying healthy all year.
i have zero concerns over players with baggage in general, but especially not now. we got dez under control, and on top of that, now we have dez as someone that can help keep under dudes under control. but i've seen enough in williams to be encouraged about him in the future and i don't think we need to make a move for anybody else.
