Former Raiders CEO Amy Trask stars in the Oneida Indian Nation’s latest radio commercial attempting to convince the Washington Redskins to change their name. The upstate New York-based tribe promised earlier this month to run ads in the home cities of Washington’s opponents all season, and the Redskins play in Oakland Sunday. In the 60-second spot airing this week on the Raiders’ flagship station, KGMZ-FM (The Game), the Oneida Indians use a clip of Trask’s comments on the topic two Sunday’s ago on CBS Sports Network’s NFL pregame show. "It's wrong to use a disparaging slur when referencing any person or any group of people and the word ‘Redskins’ has been widely used throughout our history as a derogatory, disparaging slur,’’ Trask said, in part, on “The Other Pregame Show†on September 15. That same day, the Oneida Nation in Wisconsin, a major sponsor of the Green Bay Packers, held a small protest before the game against Washington. Source:Sporting News
Dear Amy, your ex teams name refers to people who used to steal, rape, and murder. I find it offensive and they should change their name.
i'm pissed off cause this chick thinks other people give a crap about her opinion on anything? wtf is she other than an ex-executive anyway? and why is she an ex- executive from the craptiest organization in the nfl the last 15 years?
well THE REDSKINS with league's worst defense beat the crap out of the raiders qb yesterday,so maybe she should think more about how maybe she can figure out their problems if the raiders really care about what she thinks and maybe she can get her job back?wtf cares? go back to cleaning house and doing landry amy baby!
