Josh Freeman, Vikings agree to contract

Dumped by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, quarterback Josh Freeman had no shortage of interested teams that wanted to bring him aboard.

After surveying the field, Freeman decided to join the Minnesota Vikings.

I think Cassel and Freeman are both better than Ponder, but Frazier seems destined to want to keep him

 

this freeman signing probably signals the end of ponder in minnesota. from what was reported, they are paying freeman $3 mill for 12 games. that's not something you pay someone to ride the bench.

 

So you think Cassell will stay as a backup, or will he walk too? I don't know what any of their contracts are...
