Geno Smith is all growns up. The Jets rookie -- maligned at various times ever since the first night of the 2013 NFL Draft for silly things like leadership, et al -- became just the first rookie quarterback (Carson Palmer was a rookie in 2003 ...) since the merger to go on the road, complete more than 75 percent of his passes, throw three touchdowns and pull out a win.

markaz's Take: Until Monday night Geno Smith had the highest number of T/O's for the first four (4) games of a player's career in NFL history. One game later and the media is preparing him for the Hall of Fame. I love New York!!

Can the Jets make the playoffs? Can the Falcons?

well, i think i was in steadfast denial that the jets were playing better this year because i can't stand them. but, their defense is legit. they are very fast and play hard. their offense seems to be developing some chemistry and also plays hard.

as much as i hate to say it, the jets are a competitive team. it sucks because now their arrogance will come back and we have to listen to all of that crap.

Yep, it sucks when the jets are winning. They don't handle it well
