Cleveland Browns coach Rob Chudzinski doubled down on squashing the Josh Gordon trade talk. "We're not shopping Josh and we have no plans of trading Josh," Chudzinski told reporters Wednesday, per The Cleveland Plain Dealer. Chud's most recent declaration of non-action came after NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported on Monday that the Browns have talked to other teams about Gordon and were seeking a second-round draft pick in exchange. Source: NFL.com Sweets's Take: The head coach doesn't make the rules or decides who stays and who goes, watch out Josh you could be well on your way out of Cleveland if the price is right, no matter what Chud spews.
Not trying to nitpick anyone on this site, but that headline is sort of inaccurate. They didn't say "we're not trading him," just that there are no plans to do so. Obviously the Niners were offering less than a second rounder, and letting him go for anything less would be a bad deal.
