The Minnesota Vikings have a quarterback problem. NFL Media's Michael Irvin believes the decision should be an easy one. "If I'm coach (Leslie) Frazier ... I'm wasting (Freeman's) career behind this other junk." Irvin said Thursday on the "M&M Podcast." "I'm wasting this asset messing with this other stuff, and Josh Freeman gives me a weapon at quarterback." Source: NFL.com DaBears22's Take: Frazier is going to start the QB who he thinks is going to win games. This week is Cassel, next week could be Freeman. Why would the Vikes sign Freeman if they didn't think he could be the QB soon?
well, i don't think freeman gives them the best chance of winning right now. he needs to learn their system and playbook and get in some practice time with the receivers. maybe in a few weeks, he will give them a better chance than cassell gives them.
