Jamaal Charles had two short touchdown runs and the Chiefs harassed Terrelle Pryor for 10 sacks and three interceptions in a 24-7 victory over the Oakland Raiders that kept Kansas City's best start in a decade alive. Charles rushed for 78 yards and Alex Smith passed for 128, but Kansas City's defense starred in this latest win. Source: The Sports Network DaBears22's Take: 10 sacks? Jesus. KC defense unstoppable today.

chiefs defense is arguably playing the best in the league right now. the panthers, seahawks, patriots, and colts would have a good case also.

with that defense, if the chiefs even had an average offense, i think they could give the broncos a strong battle for the division title but their offense is really poor.
Seems like there's always a big "BUT" when describing the Chiefs. Holy crap, from 2-14 last season to 6-0 to start 2013 the only 'but' that should be discussed is "but they're damn good". Kudos to Andy Reid for creating a system in KC that works on the abilities of his players and kudos to the players for executing Reid's battle plan. Are the Broncos a better team? Probably. But that will be put to the test in one week. Here's one for you, Chiefs fans.....:icon_jook:
no week 11 /13 plus a bye 3 more wins to come. You saw it here.. Still wish for that tight end {?} or a healthy one. Or a deep threat receiver..with the Chiefs
the chiefs were 2-14 last season. you can also say, that the opponents "only" play against the chiefs , right ? it´s always funny, when a team starting to win games after bad years and then you only hear "weak schedule", "playing against terrible teams" and so on. beside the ravens, which team was "tougher" vs. Denver ? they played the same teams ... but you only read headlines like "omg Payton is a machine" bla bla ...
well, no doubt the chiefs have a favorable schedule but they will get some tests down the road with the broncos and colts to see how they match up with stronger teams.
