New England Patriots wide receiver Danny Amendola left his team's Week 6 game against the New Orleans Saints in the third quarter and will not return after suffering what the team is calling a head injury. While the Patriots have not indicated whether or not he suffered a concussion, many, including Albert Breer of NFL Network, said Amendola's actions seemed indicative of such an injury: "Looked closely, doesn't appear the helmets of Amendola and Bush quite hit. But the Amendola got up screamed concussion." Source: Bleacher Report SteveRobWhatever's Take: Amendola just keeps getting hurt. He's got the skills to be special, but he's made of glbutt. With that said though, I defy most NFL players not to go lights out like he did on that hit. I wonder if the Patriots get themselves in the mix for a Kenny Britt or Hakeem Nicks?
The Patriots were willing to give up a third round pick for Emmanuel Sanders. I don't see why they wouldn't give that for Britt or Nicks.
