If Vernon Davis keeps this up, perhaps the San Francisco 49ers can stop worrying about the passing game until Michael Crabtree returns from injury next month.

Davis caught touchdown passes of 61 and 35 yards and finished with a career-best 180 yards receiving, leading the 49ers past the Arizona Cardinals 32-20 on Sunday for their third straight victory.

SteveRobWhatever's Take: The 49ers defense also picked up four turnovers in the win. The 49ers seem to be getting their groove back, and the race for the NFC West is far from settled. The Cardinals were game, but a punishing scoring drive late by San Francisco seemed to take the wind out of the Cardinals' sails. Good win for the 49ers here, there were some good signs.

    86WARD -

Hell of a day by Davis. 35 yards short of the record for yards in a game by a TE.

Seems as though AZ made adjustments in the second half for Vernon. I'm glad for the win, but there's still a lot of work to be done. And we need to get healthy. Some guys will be coming off IR thankfully

With the 49ers up 22-20 toward the end of the 3rd and the Cards driving, Patrick Willis blasted the ball from Fitz and forced a fumble at the 12. The wind just completely left the sails at that point. Birds were game up to then, but the Niners are just too good to let scoring opportunities slip away like that.
Where I want to blame Fitz, I can't. Just one hell of a good defensive play. Absolute toughest part about watching the entire game was watching Anquan Boldin. Still can't believe the Cards let him go after the Superbowl season.

 who the hell is your other TE if v.d. is not an automatic start every week? Graham is about the only one i can think of and how do you end up with both graham and v.d. on your roster?

Orange Julius got the nod for me this week. I'll still win as long as I get 7 from Reggie tonight.

I keep trying to trade one so I won't feel like I'm always shooting myself in the foot, but nobody will give up anything decent and I'm not letting them go for nothing.

I have OJ and VD on the same team in one of my leagues, and did the same thing. smh. Fortunately I'm going to win that one
