The Titans starting quarterback has been sidelined by the sprained knee and hip he suffered against the New York Jets on Sept. 29, which left the underwhelming Ryan Fitzpatrick to man the controls. Titans coach Mike Munchak hasn't ruled out Locker returning to the lineup Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers. Fitz has actually played decently against 2 of the tougher defenses in the league. I think fitz is one of the better back ups in this league but obviously tennessees future Is with locker...... If he can only stay healthy
Fitzpatrick is a stiff. He's really not playing that well. What he is doing better than he did during his tenure in Buffalo is running the ball...but passing, he's terrible. If you want to say that the drop off in "yardage" isn't that much, I'd buy that, Locker wasn't lighting the world on fire, but Locker's decision making and protection of the football is worlds beyond Fitzpatrick's.
It was the chiefs and Seahawks though. Both of those defenses have made some good qbs look bad this year. I don't think fitz is great or anything but i do believe he is one of the better #2's right now.
