The NFL received its fourth consecutive A grade for its racial hiring practices amid concerns over a significant drop in minority head coaches this season.

The league also drew a C+ for gender hiring practices in the annual report by The Institute for Diversity and Ethics in Sport released Tuesday.

ICECOLD's Take: Progress is continued to be made. I'm happy as long as best person gets the job, regardless of ethnicity.

Meanwhile my hospital got a double D for noting having too many male nurses. Go figure.

    FFWD to the year 2040:

    • 34 coaches of different race and ethnicity - no whites!

    • 2 Thursday Games, 2 Monday Games, 2 Saturday Games and the usual Sunday slate

    • 18 game season, 2 preseason games.

    • No players due to injury...but the NFL is working on Player Safety. So that's nice.

And the league will still be saying that concussions have no effect on current and former players.
