With the Indianapolis Colts nursing a 13-point lead in the fourth quarter Sunday night, Andrew Luck took a shotgun snap and stuck the ball into the gut of Trent Richardson. This was why the Colts got Richardson. Source: NFL.com ICECOLD's Take: He still needs more time presumably
Or it's the fact that he is over rated because his offensive line in college were almost all pro material vs inferior talent.
Let's be honest...of all positions, RB is the one you need the least amount of time to get "up to speed." If he's not producing, it's not because he "needs more time."
Is'nt that the goal of any winning coach? having better talent is why you win 99.9 percent of the time ain't it?
my point is he had to be pretty damn good himself to make the bama team and run for all those yards. I think trent is a lot better rb than ingram was,but lacey is better than both of them.just give richardson some time,he was worth the trade.
I read an article somewhere where they are talking about the failures of the backs from Bama. The article said that the way they are used in college that they are worn out when they come to the big league.
That makes sense to me.The BAMA rbs are always in the public eye and that is why everybody sings their praises. The Tide's defense alumni are better in the pros than the BAMA rbs in the pros will ever be.
Yeah doesn't stop him from being over rated because the talent around him in college, just like USC quarterbacks.
