Seahawks coach Pete Carroll wouldn't speculate about Harvin's availability for Week 8 against the St. Louis Rams following the wide receiver's Tuesday practice debut.

"Percy got started today. Limited involvement in practice today, but he got to run around, looked good," Carroll told reporters. "He looks quick and ready to take the next step, which is the next time we come back on Thursday. We're going to do it one day at a time."

Carroll said Harvin's workload will increase as the week continues.

"He's gotta to get through normal days of practice and we see how he handles it," Carroll said. "The thought we've been going off all along is to take the conservative approach and make sure guys are healthy so we're going to continue to do that."

DaBears22's Take: Harvin needs to work his way back into game shape so he might not be ready for the upcoming game but since he is practicing now, he most likely will play the following weekend. Guess it depends on how his practices go this week.

No need to rush him back. Seahawks are winning without him.
