Jay Ratliff was released by the Dallas Cowboys last week amid injury troubles. However, the free-agent defensive lineman should be ready to return to the field soon after undergoing sports hernia surgery. Source: NFL.com ICECOLD's Take: Time to get paid!
IMO, neither side has looked very good in this situation. I look for both sides to get lawyered up to decide how much money Ratliff will get paid. The Cowboys will say that they didn't know Ratliff's exact condition because he didn't do his rehab work at Valley Ranch. Ratliff and his people will say that the Cowboys botched things up from the beginning. On a side note, I have a feeling that what happens will play a big part in what kind of contract the Cowboys will offer Hatcher and other veterans going forward.
no way rags you have to be kidding right Cowboys did all they could, jay has no leg to stand on. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk 2
This is what Mike Fisher of 105.3 The Fan said this morning as to what both sides will say should this situation go to court. And, he thinks it will.

On 105.3 The Fan this morning, Mike Fisher said that not only does he expect this issue to go to court, he thinks the Cowboys may go to Goodell's office and ask for some help in the salary cap area, saying that Ratliff and his agent are guilty of fraud, costing the Cowboys room in the salary cap. Stay tuned.
The cowboys should have to go to goddell He should be I this crap. This could be bad for future players wanting out of contracts that could fake injuries
