    Tampa Bay Buccaneers coach Greg Schiano steadfastly has insisted that he's not worried about his job status, despite his 0-6 start to the season. But Schiano's gig is far from safe.

    something i just thought of ............. is it unusual to be almost in november and not have a single coaching firing? seems like we usually have some before now.....

    Not until November. Earliest as of recently was Wade Phillips - 11.08.10. Childress came two weeks after. In 2011 Jack Del Rio got crapcanned on the 29th of November. 2012 Andy Reid was first to go right before the new year.
