    NFL Media's Albert Breer reported Saturday, per a source, that Amendola has been cleared and will play for the Pats in Week 8.

    Talib, the Patriots' No. 1 cornerback, is unlikely to play Sunday, Breer reported, after straining his hip flexor against the Saints.
