49ers Trying To Deal RB Anthony Dixon

    The 49ers are dangling running back Anthony Dixon as trade bait, according to NFL.com. Dixon's main role is on special teams, but he also has served as an effective short-yardage runner this season, scoring two touchdowns.

    Walnuts's Take: I'm not sure what they could get of value in return for Dixon, but he's definitely expendable and would potentially open up a spot for James.

    Solid special teams player. Could be servicable as a RB or FB in the right system. Would be sad to see Boobie go, but they have to make room somehow

    Normally i would say they can't get crap for Dixon, but the way the 49ers front office has been raping other teams in trades, they will probably get a first rounder for him
