Pick a play where it the outcome could have been different for the St. Louis Rams. From missed field goals to 247 penalties (?), the Rams had their chances to win Monday's game against Seattle. None of those stand out more than what happened on the final play of the game. Brian Schottenheimer happened.

I've seen some interesting play calling in my 26 years :tsk: but nothing can compare to that "play" called by Brian Shottenheimer to end that abortion of an NFL game against the Seahawks last night. To say it was stupid gives Shottenheimer far too much credit. If I were a Rams fan I think I'd start a Boycott the Rams movement in St.Louis until he was gone. Any explanations he gives today are nothing more than excuses.

I was really surprised they didn't have another run dialed up at some point in 4 tries. Shovel Pass, pistol play, overload one-side and run to the weak side. Hell, I could've dialed up probably half dozen plays that would have scored from that distance.
Those guys played too hard to let that game end like that.

i would have tried a roll out pass option before i would have tried running the ball at all. good teams find way to win, seahawks are a great team, but they got a gift last night.
