Steelers coach Mike Tomlin threatened more jobs, said he was angry, said he was as disappointed as ever after the Steelers 55-31 pasting by the New England Patriots, Ed Bouchette of the Pittsburgh Post Gazette reports.

"You re-evaluate everything," Tomlin said. "You have to after a performance like that and we will. It doesn't necessarily mean we will change or change for the sake of changing, but we will look at every aspect of what we are doing and who we are doing it with because we can't have performances like that."

"We couldn't stop them," Tomlin said. "We didn't stop the run. We didn't stop the pbutt."

"Those people who are lacking effort won't be playing," Tomlin said. "It's just that simple. ... I am angry, disappointed."

SteveRobWhatever's Take: An ugly showing by the Steelers on defense yesterday. Heads need to roll after a performance like that. Problem is the Steelers aren't as deep as they once were, and the backups are really weak. This season is turning into a disaster in Pittsburgh.

Pfffft...threaten jobs? Really? What's he going to put out there?

How about threatening the coaches jobs first...including your own.

Agreed ward. He needs to look at the coaching staff first because they aren't getting the job done either

One small example from the Patriots game. Jonathan Dwyer - 1 carry for 30 yards. How does he not get at least one more carry?

Cameron Heyward is not on that list

Stop bringing up things like common sense in this steelers season.

    Tomlin benches Antonio Brown a
Towards the end of the Patriots game because he missed an assignment. Good move to bench one of your best players when trying to mount a comeback...lol.
