Hall of Fame coach Don Shula weighed in on the controversy surrounding the Miami Dolphins involving suspended offensive guard Richie Incognito. In Shula's opinion, Incognito should have never been signed and was a character risk not worth taking. "You win with good people on and off the field," Shula told The Miami Herald. "They took a chance on a guy with a bad reputation, and it backfired on them." Source: National Football Post 86WARD's Take: Just a little bit...
 There's always players who wear 'the black hat'. He's one of them & I'm good with that. IMO, the Dolphin organization will ultimately prove to be the guys that went too far in trying capitalize on his 'attributes' to get Martin to up his game. Makes Incognito look like the over-the-top aggressor when it was the Dolphins staff who tried something that's blown up in their face. Incognito's just been who he is...a pit bull of a player who never should be the 'teacher'. Not surprised he feels betrayed & unfairly portrayed.
