Ben Roethlisberger is frustrated, starting with offensive coordinator Todd Haley, who will likely be fired after the season, but it extends to other coaches as well, reports NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. What is surprising, however, is that Big Ben could also want out of Pittsburgh. "Steelers sources tell me to expect Roethlisberger to ask [the organization] in the offseason to explore possible trade options," Rapoport said Sunday morning. "The Steelers did field trade offers for Big Ben last offseason, they're expected to do so again this offseason. I asked a Steelers source would they actually trade their franchise quarterback and the response I got was 'No, unless we could replace him with a franchise quarterback.'" Source: CBS Sports SteveRobWhatever's Take: It would be wild to see Roethlisberger in anything other than a Steelers uniform. Early word is that the Steelers would not make a move unless they get a franchise QB back. Rumor also is that if there is one team that would be interested, it would be the Arizona Cardinals. Former offensive coordinator Bruce Arians is in Arizona. He is friends with Roethlisberger and they both have won two Super Bowls together.
well, i could definitely see Ben wanting to play with Arians again. this whole story is unbelievable, though. what's happened to the 'model' franchise steelers?
Big Ben's been a snitch ever since they took away his best bud Bruce Arians. Add to that some crappy drafts and the Steelers got old quick with no depth worth a damn to replace the older guys.
I would hate to see him go but if they can get a couple first round picks and guarantee their QB pick in this up coming draft, I think there's a good shot they deal him. They are in terrible shape roster-wise , cap-wise and with their coaching staff...
And I thought wide receivers were the Bitc... of The NFL-Butt as a Chiefs fan I never liked Todd Haley. He goes=Ben stays
