Donald Brown rushed for 80 yards and two touchdowns and Andrew Luck ran for a score as the Indianapolis Colts overcame an 11-point halftime deficit to down the Tennessee Titans, 30-27, on Thursday. The Colts (7-3) trailed 17-6 at intermission but came out of the locker room in attack mode. Source: Sportsnetwork.com ICECOLD's Take: The Colts looked shaky in the first half, only to settle down in the 3rd quarter. Donald Brown showed Trent Richardson how to be a NFL running back for a game. Andrew Luck was solid as usual and reminded everyone he can use his feet when he needs to
so i hear chris johnson only got like 4 touches in the second half. thats crazy if its true after that real good start in the first half.
Last night was a microcosm of the colts season. When they don't have a spark of some sort, they play like a disinterested, lazy bunch. But then in an instant when they start playing passionately, they look as good as any team in the League
I'm not sure it happens this year, and they still have significant roster improvements to make around him, but I'm pretty sold on Andrew Luck taking real charge of this team as he matures. I don't think this is one of the best teams in the league based on personnel, but if they put more pieces together, the Colts could be real good for a long time with him at QB.
Yep, luck is the real deal and the colts will be fine for another 10-15 years going from one great qb to another. Some teams go 30 years and still can't find a qb. The colts just go right from one to another
You gotta be a little lucky for it to go the way it did, too. But imagine the alternate scenario where they keep Manning and take the Browns offer of their entire draft for the top pick. Are they as good? Better?
Right this minute, they would be better because they would be more consistent. They are very up and down and having a young qb plays a part in that.
