A powerful weather system might bring tornadoes to portions of the Midwest and could impact several NFL games.

A map on Weather.com illustrates the wide-ranging areas that might be affected, including the cities of Chicago, Detroit, Nashville, Cincinnati, Louisville, Cleveland and Indianapolis.

markaz's Take: If I were at a game in either Chicago or Cincinnati today I might keep a sharp lookout for spinning clouds overhead.

I Would not worry much if i were inside, but i would keep a radio or keep my phone on the weather channel if i were at any of those outside games.

My dad is at the Bears/Ravens game. He said he heard there is supposed to be up to 50 mph winds. The Bears are going to really need their running game today.

I Am just 50 years old,but i never remember tornadoes hitting the midwest so late in the year until maybe the last 5 years. i agree, both teams are gonna have to run the ball a lot in 50mph wind conditions.

I've been to a few Bears games in the past that have been pretty damn windy but nothing like what is being reported today.
